The Singapore College of Insurance (SCI) is a not-for-profit, industry-based professional training and education body set up in 1974, as part of Singapore’s efforts to develop as an international insurance hub.
Since its inception, SCI has remained focused in its efforts to upgrade the technical expertise of insurance and financial services practitioners, and to provide them with professional advancement opportunities.
The SCI has also been administering for the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) regulatory examinations such as the Certificate in General Insurance (CGI), Capital Markets and Financial Advisory Services (CMFAS) and Health Insurance (HI) examinations.
