“We are living in extraordinary times as the pandemic puts our grit and resilience to the test. Whilst this accolade is an acknowledgement that we are doing something right by placing people at the heart of our business, it is as much a recognition of the people themselves who make up our phenomenal culture of delivering excellence and demonstrating respect and results. Without our teams coming to work every day with their dedication, smiles and positivity we would be a rather grim place to work.” – Terry Ryan, CEO, DHL Supply Chain Asia Pacific

“Employee engagement remains our top priority. While the circumstances may be different we have adapted to new ways of building camaraderie and promoting learning. We have sharpened our focus on team collaboration and people engagement to ensure we are getting timely feedback from employees through various surveys, feedback sessions and regular check-ins.”

Declan J Byrne, Senior Vice President, Human Resources DHLSupply Chain Asia Pacific

“The pandemic has shown that DHL will always stand with its  employees every step of the way – regardless whether we are working from home or at the warehouses. The management has been proactive in fostering open communication with employees via Zoom or Facetime to ensure that daily operations run smoothly. Workplace SOPs are regularly reviewed to ensure compliance with safe distancing measures and that the employees’ health and safety are protected. DHL also continue to reward employees and provide financial support to those in need to tide them over during this difficult period. All these things make DHL a Great Place to Work, indeed.”

-Juliana Johari, Operations Executive, DHL Supply Chain Asia Pacific
