Healthcare runs on trust. Patients depend on it, and so do the people who deliver their care. This inaugural list recognizes the healthcare providers, biopharma companies, and life sciences organizations across Southeast Asia where that trust is real, measured through confidential employee feedback in the Great Place To Work® Trust Index™ Survey. Every organization here earned its place primarily based on what their own people said.

The Great Place To Work® survey enables employees to share confidential quantitative and qualitative feedback about their organization’s culture and impact on its community by responding to 60 statements on a 5-point scale and answering two open-ended questions.
Through the survey, employees tell us whether leaders are accessible, communicate honestly and clearly, and if their actions match their words. They tell us whether they feel respected as individuals, if they receive training benefits, appreciation, support for their well-being and opportunities to contribute. They tell us whether they believe their company is fair related to pay, profits, promotions, recognition, favoritism and opportunities. They tell us if they are proud of their work, their team, and their company and if they feel they make a difference, and their work is meaningful. And they tell us whether they enjoy the people they work with, feel cared for and can be themselves.
List rankings are based on this employee feedback, which we analyze to determine the extent to which this experience is shared by the full workforce. Great Place To Work® measures the differences in survey responses across demographic groups and roles within each organization to assess both the quality and consistency of the employee experience.
The Southeast Asia’s Best Workplaces™ in Healthcare & Biopharma 2026 list recognizes the companies that outperform all others across the region. To determine this, we evaluate the extent to which each company surpasses its peers in every country within the region. We also consider the company’s overall regional presence, including the number of employees across the region, the number of countries where the company is Certified™, and the number of countries where it has conducted employee surveys.
Surveys must meet strict requirements for how they are distributed and the percentage of employees who respond to ensure they accurately represent honest feedback from the company’s full population..
The Southeast Asia Best Workplaces™ in Healthcare & Biopharma list recognizes organizations that have created outstanding workplace cultures based on confidential employee feedback. The list celebrates healthcare providers, biopharma companies, MedTech organizations, and related employers that deliver a consistently positive employee experience across Southeast Asia.
Unlike country-level lists, organizations are benchmarked against leading healthcare and biopharma employers across Southeast Asia. This creates a more rigorous standard by evaluating workplace culture across multiple markets, employee populations, and operating environments.
The Trust Index™ survey asks employees to respond to 60 statements about their workplace experience and includes two open-ended questions. Topics include leadership credibility, respect, fairness, employee wellbeing, opportunities for growth, pride in work, and the quality of relationships within the workplace.
Rankings are determined primarily through confidential employee feedback collected via the Great Place To Work® Trust Index™ Survey. We analyze employees’ experiences of trust, leadership, fairness, respect, pride, and camaraderie, and assess how consistently these experiences are shared across the workforce.
In addition to employee feedback, we consider an organization’s regional presence, including the number of employees across Southeast Asia, the number of countries where the organization is Great Place To Work Certified™, and the number of countries where employee surveys have been conducted.
